The ITF World Tennis Tour will take its annual three-week stop in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja in April, with players from all over the world storming the city in search of $75,000 in total prize money and vital ATP and ITF ranking points.

The Tombim Open, hitting its 5th edition this year, will get underway from 8th April through to the 14th, while the Dayak Tennis Championships will hold from 15 – 21 April.

The GSL Open will cap off the three-week tennis fiesta, with hostilities for the event kick-starting on the 22nd of April and will have its final curtain fall on the 28th.

All events, described as M25+H Abuja, will take place at the National Tennis Centre, Abuja. Additional information will be disseminated as soon as the governing body, the International Tennis Federation, releases them.

History was made in last year’s event, when Brazil’s João Menezes, then 21, became the first man to reach the final of all three tournaments, consecutively. He clinched the Tombim Open in the first week, but fell short to Austria’s Maximilian Neuchrist in the final of the Dayak Tennis Championships. He would cap off a memorable outing with a 62-minute straight-sets victory over India’s Arjun Kadhe to lift the GSL Open.
