Nigerian sensation, Oyinlomo Quadre will return to competitive action following her first round exit at the Grade 3 event in Mohammedia, Morocco, in March, when she takes on Nour Gueblaoui of Tunisia in the opening round of the African Junior Closed Championship for 16 & Under in Hammemet, Tunisia, on Tuesday.

Quadre, who bowed out in the first round of last year’s event, will be hoping to go one better, when she squares off against the 15-year-old.

“I will just take it one match at a time,” said Quadre, when asked about her readiness for the tournament. “I have prepared so much these past two weeks, and let’s see what happens from there on.”

It’s a first time meeting between both girls, but Quadre will fancy her chances against the Tunisian, who has never won a main draw match on the ITF Junior Circuit.
