Teen sensation, Oyinlomo Quadre, returns to action at the Grade 3 hard-court event in Megrine, Tunisia, this week.
The 15-year-old is fresh off an impressive run to the semifinals of the African Junior Closed Championships for 16 & Under in Hammamet, Tunisia, last week, and will be looking to build on that at the ITF Junior Tennis Club de Megrine.
The Nigerian will kick-start her campaign against Tunisian qualifier, Ammel Samari, in the first round on Tuesday.
Samari comes off two rounds of qualifying, where she defeated her compatriots in straight sets, but will now face a stern test when she goes head-to-head for the first time against Quadre.
Victory for Quadre will see her face either 7th-seeded Moroccan, Sara Akid, or Portugal’s Matilde Jorge in the second round.
The ITF Junior Tennis Club de Megrine tournaments holds from 16th – 21st April at the Tennis Club de Megrine, Tunisia.
