Teenage sensation, Oyinlomo Quadre will begin her quest for a first title in 2020, when she squares off against Eva Shaw of Great Britain in the first round of the J2 Tunis—a Grade 2 hard-court tournament—in Tunisia on Tuesday.

Quadre, who’s ranked 174th on the ITF Junior Rankings and seeded No.4 in this event, comes into the encounter riding a wave of confidence after a dominant title-run at the ITF Grade 5 tournament in Abuja two months ago- her last tournament on the ITF Junior Tour in 2019.

Oyinlomo Quadre’s victory at the J5 Abuja was her third title-triumph in 2019.

Shaw claimed two singles titles last year—J4 Lanarca in Cyprus in August and J4 Rungsted Kyst in Denmark in October, and enters this event on the back of a quarterfinal-run at the J3 Leipaja in Latvia in December. The 14-year-old, who’s ranked 236 on the ITF World Junior Rankings, is seeking the third ITF Junior title of her fledgling career.
