The finals will draw the curtain on what has been an exciting junior tennis competition, as the 2nd edition of the Play Your Age Junior Tennis Championships comes to a close on Sunday, 21 April.

Youngsters, Mohammed Idris and Salamatu Haruna headline the final action, with other juniors looking to secure the top honour in their respective categories.

Mohammed Idris, who was instrumental to the country’s boys team’s third-place finish at the AJC Finals qualifiers in Cotonou last month, defeated his teammate in Cotonou, Seun Ogunsakin in the semifinals. Idris now takes on Ezekiel Azi in the final of the Boys Under-12 category. Both players are members of the FCT tennis association team.
