Oyinlomo Quadre kept up her impressive form to reach the final four of the J3 Pretoria in South Africa today.

Quadre, the tournament’s second seed, was hardly troubled as she sped past Sarah Aubertin of Tunisia 6-1, 6-1 in Wednesday’s quarter-finals.

Aubertin had beaten Quadre in their only previous encounter last year, but couldn’t contain the Nigerian teen, who got a superb revenge.

The 16-year-old, winner of three ITF Junior titles last year, will look to remain on course for a first this year, when she takes on another Tunisian, Feryel Ben hassen in Thursday’s semfinals. Ben hassen edged South Africa’s Isabella Weatherhead 7-5, 6-2 in her own quarter-final match.

The semifinal contest on Thursday will be the first career meeting between Quadre and the Tunisian.

Quadre was also on doubles duties on Wednesday, where she kept up the fine chemistry with her partner, Salma Loudili of Morocco. The duo claimed a 6-2, 7-5 victory over the South African pair of Jessica Portwig and Suzanie Pretorius to reach the semi-finals.

Quadre and Loudili will seek to make the doubles final, when they square off against the French-South African duo of Nahia Berecoechea and Delien Kleinhans on Thursday.
