Nigerian sensation, Oyinlomo Quadre, got off to a brilliant start at the ITF Junior Tennis Club de Megrine, with straight-sets victory over home favourite, Amel Sammari, to advance to the second round in Megrine, Tunisia.

Quadre, 15, dismissed the Tunisian 6-0, 6-3 to breeze through on Tuesday.

The Nigerian had made a run to the semifinals of the African Junior Closed Championships for Under 16s in Hammamet a week ago, and she has kept up that impressive form in Megrine.

In the doubles event, Quadre has joined forces with Maria Charl of Egypt, and will take on the Moroccan-Tunisian pair of Sara Akid and Sarah Lisa in the first round on Wednesday.
