The team event at the ITF/CAT African Junior Championships begins in Lome, with Nigeria facing Benin, Sierra Leone and host nation, Togo, on Friday.
The Girls 14 & Under team led by Serena Teluwo, Salamatu Haruna and Esther Oni will face the Togolese, while the Boys 14 & Under team go head-to-head with Sierra Leone.
Mohammed Idris, Ganiyu Mubarak and Maxwell Joshua lead the charge in that category and will be looking to come up with the goods against the Sierra Leoneans.
In the Girls U16s, Nigeria will square off against Benin Republic, with Marylove Edwards, Oiza Yakubu and Rebecca Ekpeyong in action.
It will be Nigeria against Benin, also, in the Boys U16s, with Suleiman Ibrahim, Canice Abua and David Dawariye spearheading the challenge.
The ties comprise two singles rubbers and a doubles rubber.
One team each will qualify from each category for the African Junior Championship Finals which will take place in South Africa in March.
