Nigeria, alongside Morocco, Egypt and Kenya will battle it out in the women’s team competition at the African Games in Rabat.
The four teams were selected via point calculation. Based on Nigeria’s performances so far, we qualified for the women’s team event after Egypt and Morocco.
Nigeria will take on host nation, Morocco, while Egypt lock horns with Kenya in the semifinals.
The team event will comprise two singles’ rubbers and one doubles rubber, with the winner of the tie going on to compete in the final for Gold.
The losers of the semifinal encounters will compete in a third-place match for the chance to claim Bronze.
Nigeria and Morocco are in action Friday morning.
