The 11th Edition of the Kaduna Clay Court National Junior Tennis Championship will be played between November 23 and 29 at the Kaduna Club, Kaduna.
The clay-court tournament organized by the Kaduna State Tennis Association will feature the best kids across the country in each of the four categories – Boys 14, 16, and Girls 14, 16.
According to the tournament director, Coach Ubale Mohammed, entries have opened for eligible tennis players in each age category.
The competition will feature the best tennis players from across the country.
To be eligible, players in the 16 and under age group must be born on January 1 between the years 2004 & 2007 and must have reached their 13th birthday on or before the first day of competition.
For players in the 14 and under age group, they must have been born between the years 2006 & 2009 and must have reached their 11th birthday before the first day of competition.
All entries MUST be accompanied by a photocopy of birth certificate and passport photograph of each player. Original copy to be presented on-site.

All entries close on Friday, 20th, November 2020.
The tournament will be singles draw size 48 and also be played in the best of two tie breaks and a match tie break in place of a third set.
In addition, all action will be in accordance with the ITF Junior competition rules as well as Code of Conduct.
Meanwhile, the organizers have assured that strict post covid protocols laid down by both the NTF and ITF will be followed.
There will also be feeding and accommodation for 2 players each in the 14 and Under, 16 and Under age groups, and 1 official per participating team for the duration of the tournament.
